Smart man. He picked two well run parks being Dollywood and Holidayworld for ideas. Expect to see open kiosk cooking with WOKS as one of those ideas at the SF parks. Shapiro
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.
(sings)If you want to be my Chang-y, doesn 't matter if your black or white, or brown, or blue, or green, or red, or orange, or mauve, or yellow... 2010 trips- Dollywood, SFGAm, maybe SoCal
^ I blame Buc Battle to the unusually cold temperatures this past summer. This is just also reminding me about my first road trip w/ coasters!!!!

You are right in he needs to check out other things about the parks other then food. Guest service and themeing is why people go to those parks, not food.
I wonder if the reason he was checking out those parks is because of their wooden coasters, and them "rebuilding" the Texas Giant ride at Six Flags Over Texas. It's supposed to be a brand new roller coaster. They are demolishing the former Texas Giant, and building another roller coaster there.
"I've been staring at the world, waiting. All the trouble and all the pain we're facing. Too much light to be livin' in the dark. Why waste time? We only got one life. Together we can be the CHANGE. So go and let your heart burn bright"
Texas Giant isn't really having that much done to it as I understand. It's mostly just being retracked and tweaked here and there. Also getting new trains.

The Makeover better be good, its Costing $10 Million. For 3 Million more they could've torn down the coaster and Built an Intamin "El Toro" Wooden Coaster instead.
