Frank thomas is a little {female dog}(not sure if that falls into chitowns bad word topic) BUT his stats were almost identical with Jason Giambis, and he had more home runs thatn giambi. Giambi had 2 more hits than thomas and two more steals than thomas. Are you going to tell me that Jason Giambi sucks too?

Which is worse, losing 5 games not to make it in the playoffs or giving up 8 runs in one inning when you are 5 outs from the world series?

If you are really a good team then you wouldn't give up 8 runs in one inning to loose your chance at the world series.

I never said the cubs suck, they can just be a big let down at the last minute like every other Chicago team.

Except the main difference there is that with the Sox fans they ran onto the field, while the Dodgers bullpen actually went up into the crowd. Just thought I'd point out that minor detail.

The Fans where jeering on the Dodgers bullpen, then one of the Dodgers said something that upset the Dodgers player. Then the Dodger headed into the stands and then the beer tossing happened blah blah blah.


Not half as bad as some white trash werdios attack an umpire and then a coach. That to me is 100 times worse then The Cubs/Dodgers incident.

Haha funny you should bring that up. There was an article in the suntimes awhile back that said that the father son duo that rushed the field werent sox fans, but they were Cub fans that went to U.S. Cellular that day merely for the Booze and 1/2 price tickets.

THE CAP BROKE

Strong lift ahead of a cold front and good shear near the low pressure system blew the cap! Around 1350 a line of thunderstorms devloped in east lee county and western dekalb county. Initial reports of 1 inch hail and 68mph winds in dekalb county are under investigation. The storm intensified riding the fast moving 400mb jet. The Dekalb County cell moved north into southern wisconsin while a new cell, over will county, intensified and moved into Cook county. Cook and lake counties were warned for the possibility of hail as the storms had very cold tops, strong updrafts, and good shear. Thoes storms are now moving over lake michigain wile a large area of non severe storms are moving over the western chicago area.

1 Tornado reported on Highway 33 in Reedsburg Wisconsin

25 Hail reports across Northern Illinois including 1.5 inch hail in whitewater wisconsin. 1 inch hail in Wayne Illinois.

09 Wind Reports including 68 mph winds in Huntly Illinois. Tree damage associated with a bow cell that moved over northen Lake Couty Illinois, over Lake Michigain, and into central Michigain.


Strong Low Pressure of 998 Millibars Tracked over Central Iowa. The Warm sector over Illinois was fed from Gulf Moisture drawn from the south in aid with High Pressure off the Carolina's. Radiational heating caused enough heat at the lower levels to boil up and break the cap. A line devloped and moved through the Chicago area and fizzled in the cooler dried Michigain air. Cold upper level temperatures and good shear due to strong jet allowed the storms to become severe.



NWS Has chance of severe a little south and east of chicago on the 2 day plots (friday). Moderate risk in Eastern Texas. Looks interisting.
