I Apologize for the wall of text below but emotions are running high in me right now
Thank you Kingda Ka for everything that you have given to this community, you were one of the most influential roller coasters that have ever existed. For nearly 20 years, enthusiasts and non enthusiasts alike have stood and awed at you, you were the perfect compliment to El Toro, you stood as a symbol of excellence even when the chain was at it's lowest financially. I cannot tell you the mount of hours I have wasted as a child watching videos about Ka, drawing pictures of Ka, making Ka in video games. You were not the worlds best coaster but I'll be damned if you were not one of the most fun. I do not have many personal attachments to roller coasters but I did for you, what Cedar Fair did to you is absolutely unforgivable but hopefully it can heal with time and what memories will remain won't be of anger and sadness but laughter and love of all the great rides you had. I want to keep typing, I honestly could for hours, but I doubt anyone cares, I am writing this for myself in all honesty. I will never forget the King of all coasters. Long live the king.
Rant time! The way Cedar Fair treated the end of Kingda Ka is absolutely disgraceful and a bad omen for what is likely to come next. Even if they would have given a statement prior to closing, people would be upset, but they didn't, they didn't even acknowledge it until the ride officially closed for the season like absolute cowards. This is a pattern Cedar Fair has had for the past decade and doesn't look like it's going to break anytime soon. Look at how many rides they are closing at one park, sure some of them were not "fan favorites" but it's absolutely ridiculous to not at least send them off with some fanfare, this fumbling of Ka is going to be a stain on the companies legacy for a long time, and to be quite honest with you, all their new additions for 2026 look absolutely laughable, nothing there stands out outside the Ka replacement which was kept vague because they are probably going to replace it with that absolutely atrocious Mack Tower coaster. But hey, we can't give any of the legacy Six Flags parks good things! We need the money to fix our failure of a coaster at our flagship park built by a company that could barley even handle a wild mouse that anyone could have seen coming from a mile away! Sorry to end this tirade on a down note but I really feel like things aren't looking great for the Six Flags family. I hope I am wrong
Some time, on way to successful, first of steps of all of the steps to being successful steps are hardest of all of the steps to successing.
Never was able to get to SFGad to ride Kingda Ka but I have been watching a lot of footage the past few days. I understand that it's not probable and that certain people in the community is saying that it's gone forever. But, one could hope for a reimagined version of Kingda Ka. Being able to be one of the few that has gone on TT2 I would say it would be worth the investment 100%. TT2 is my favorite ride at CP. I'm hopeful that they would do something like that even if it's not probable. One can hope..

A lot of people have been thinking that this week, since it’s been radio silence from Gadv since Sunday. But unfortunately it’s comfirmed gone.
Luckily and fortunately I rode it recently in August. Did not feel the need to make it out for the last couple weekends since that was just a couple months ago, but it seems like it was a really good time between all the enthusiasts. Crazy how something so drastic changed in a matter of weeks.
