It hit $2.61 in aurora which i wonder if gas price like this makes you think twice about going to six flags. It'll cost me $25 to and from six flags in one day

Moved and fixed title.

Yes, gas prices have definatly made a difference in my decisions not to go to Six Flags. The only two time's that I went was for two special events Six Flags held, and because Dave wanted me to. Otherwise it's just too expensive to drive places.

$2.29 in Central Illinois. I barely ever leave town, so it hasn't affected me that much.

Gas where I live is $2.39 a gallon. I only drive 5 minutes back and forth to work 4 days a week so it isn't bad for me.

These gas prices are rediculous. We probably won't ever see them under $2.00 again.

I see it like this. If they can price it $2.61 a gallon, I bet this winter will go as low as $2.10, then by next summer it will go as high as $2.97 because they know we paid it at $2.61.

Next year the excuse will be all refinaries closed down major terriost attacks in saudi arabia, 3 or 4 hurricanes in florida.

Maybe they will tear all refinaries down and rebuilt it, just to have an excuse to raise prices. Will it affect SFGAM, I don't know till it happens. It doesn't seem to slow people down this year.

People will have to get bank loans to buy gas for their SUV's LOL J/K

I know these prices are absurd mainly not for me but for these people who have to get up and go drive like 100 miles back and forth from work.

2.59 a gallon here, over 10 cents higher than it's ever been. It will probably stay like this going down 2 cents every other day for like 2 weeks, then jump right back up again.

Supply and Demand sucks doesn't it?

It's about 2.55 here now, but It's been going up the past couple of days, So I wouldn't be surprised if it was in the 70s by next week.

As oil prices rise, they can't just eat the losses.

I have a 94 S-10 and yesterday it cost me $51.00 and that only gave me 3/4 of a tank. It's called stealing from the American Public!

Candy: Yeah, you see something you like?
Otis B. Driftwood: Maybe. I set my standards pretty low, so I'm never disappointed.

I call BS. $51.00/2.55=20 gallons. And if 3/4 of a tank is only 20 gallons, that would mean your tank is 26.6666 gallons. They never made an S-10 with a 26 gallon tank.
