For some reason when I was a kid I was totally fascinated with it... actually it, the Lusitania, the Britannic, and the Empress of Ireland sinkings. I want to say that was around 1st through 3rd grade.

Haven't watched the movie in years.

I think everyone was around that age. For some reason, I was very interested in it too. On a side note, I was driving back from work one day 2 summers ago, and there was a traveling Titanic exhibit at the mall near me. I stopped in for a few minutes since it was free admission. Kinda cool to see all that stuff. It was a lot like the first exhibit they had at the MSI.

Never liked the 1997 Titanic movie. Now if you want good movies on the subject, the 1958 classic A Night to Remember and the 1953 Titanic are the way to go. A Night to Remember is one of the best movies I've seen.

^ you are so right. A Night to Remember is by far the best Titanic movie out there. Miles ahead of James Cameron version, even with a nude Kate Winslet.

If it walks like socialist, quacks like socialist, smells like a socialist, .... it's a socialist. Hope, and change we can believe in.

I saw this in 3-D as well. Any one else? I really liked the 3-D Kate Winslet ta tas. Sorry if that's too vulgar, it needs to be said.

Haven't seen most of the Titanic movies, but considering what this is about, this one is a surprisingly good film. Cost the equivlent of $200 million to make it.
