“When in Rome” at first glance appears to be nothing more than your average poorly written, consistently non funny romantic comedy with the sharp gaps in creativity attempted to be filled by an all star cast. Starring Kristen Bell as a young art museum curator who finds herself in Rome for her sister’s wedding to an Italian gentlemen who her sister has known for two weeks. After hitting it off quite well with the best man played by Josh Duhamel, Beth (Kristen Bell) discovers Nick (Josh Duhamel) kissing another woman outside of the reception near the “fountain of love.” Dismayed and somewhat intoxicated Beth jumps in the fountain and takes 5 coins thrown in by different men which causes the 5 men to fall uncontrollably in love with Beth. The supporting cast is pretty strong featuring Jon Heder portraying a street magician who attempts to woo Beth with his cunning trickery, Will Arnett as an Italian artist who is continuously trying to make the perfect rendering of Beth, Dax Shepard as an egotistical male model and Danny Devito as Al Russo an old lonely C.E.O. of a sausage company. The movie itself is an ultimately predictable romantic comedy however much to it’s credit the movie is laced with very scenarios which are played as well as can possibly be given the content. A cameo by Kristen Schaal as the sever at a sensory heightening restaurant is the highlight of this film. Overall I’d give “When in Rome” a 60% and confidently say that as far as romantic comedies go it is not a terrible film.
no, he's going by rotten tomatoe grading- 60% means fresh
(sings)If you want to be my Chang-y, doesn 't matter if your black or white, or brown, or blue, or green, or red, or orange, or mauve, or yellow... 2010 trips- Dollywood, SFGAm, maybe SoCal
I read a few reviews of it online, and they all rated it bad.. but I still went to go see it, and I am glad I did. The movie itself is 138 minutes, but it defiantly doesn't feel that long at all. There are a lot of unpredictable moments in the movie, very thrilling, and overall I would rate it an 8 out of 10.

I saw Frozen when it came out February 12th, It got great reviews so I wanted to see it, yeah well it sucked. It had no story, the acting was terrible and it was just a huge dissapointment. It didn't even last a week at the theaters. I thought it was going to be about how the three characters banded together to try and survive before freezing to death but it wasn't like that at all. So I wasn't very happy with it so I wouldn't recommend seeing it or buying it. 1/5
Me and a buddy went to see this opening night without knowing anything about it. It was definitely well made and the story was everunfolding, which is always a good thing!!! I did think it carried on a bit and a few parts were twisted / depressing. Overall, not a bad movie and worth the watch if you like movies like The Shining, Sixth Sense, and plots like The Prestige
Alice in Wonderland 3D Imax: 3.5 / 5
Another fairly decent movie! The actual part that takes place in wonderland is kind of lacking in the genious plot department, but the opening scenes sets it up really well!!! Helena B. Carter as Red Queen and Johnny Depp as Mad Hatter obviously steal the show, but I was fairly impressed with Alice as well! The 3D aspect didn't add much to the plot, but since it was my first 3D movie in Imax, it made it more thrilling for me! Overall, again, not bad, worth watching but kind of reminded me of Shrek
RIP: Trailblazer and Deja Vu...heck, even Alien Encounter
The acting was wonderful, and I'm officially jealous of Gerard Butler's beard. Although, the "comedy" was quite stale, I didn't laugh much. No large theater laughs either.
Boogie Nights. Holy crap awesome. Really freaking funny and good honest characters. Honest meaning the light they are portrayed not honest as they are respectable (they are in porn, after all). A really good ensemble movie. I highly recommend this.
Every jumbled pile of person has a thinking part that wonders what the part that isn't thinking, isn't thinking of.
I saw Kick ass and it did not kick any ass, in fact i thought this film was bad to the point I wanted to walk out if it because of the fact that our main hero is reduced to a background character about half way through it. This was the same problem I have with X-men once Wolverine shows up all the x-men kinda stand around and watch him fight every one. This movie fails.
Saw Avatar that didn't live up to the hype that people told me it would. It was basically Pocahontas on flying blue tigers. It looks nice but that doesn't make it a good film it passes but barely I give it a D
Sherlock Homes : Pure Awesomeness This movie made me want to go and read the rest of the homes books that I have around the apartment. It gets an A
