Her name is Lauren Debrauwere She graduated in 06 i think if i'm not mistaken.

^ she was a freshman but yeah I have a report on her. She's doing fine. She's out of the hospital. She got shot in the abdomen and hip and a bullet traveled to her chest and is now lodged up in there and they won't take it....not now at least.

Hey everyone.
Today is the 1 year annivorsory of the shooting at NIU, I think we should all pay tribute by wereing niu red and black. Maby take 5mins of your time for a moment of silince 1 min for each victum. I know I will... If you look on NIU's website u can find vids of last years memorial servus, 5mins of silence and the candle vidgul. Also today they are having a live webcast of the memorial 2day, also at NIU today there having an all day memorial day on campus. Sorry for bringing back an old topic but I think it deserves it. Also if your interested you can put a picture of a candle on the thread for the victums. (Btw I didn't talk to any mods about this, but to me having niu in my family with my sister and my brother there, I think it deserves it) Also I want to hear about some stories of last year, like what and where you durring the shooting. Heres two for you 1) My brother was a CA at the neptune west dorm building, it was near cole hall, people who were shot and injured all ran there, crying and all. My brother had to see that.He couldn't go home that weekend, he had to stay with the students. Also my sister could have been in that class but didn't take it, she could have been one of the victums, now I thank god, not only today 1 year ago but still now. But my sister was in that area of campus an hour befor the shooting, she was one of the last people to see cole hall as it was. It seamed like another day of classes 2)It was around 3:30 I was home from school and playing rct3 making a dulling dragons recreation. My dad came into my room saying there was a shooting at NIU, I exited the game and opened aim looking if my brother and sister were on. My dad came in with the phone saying it was my mom. It was and she was crying, she told me to try and talk to my brother and siter, she tried calling them but all the lines were busy, eventualy I got through with bolth of them on aim. They were alright, my sister came home that night, my brother couldn't. So my sister came home, my family and I gave her the biggest hug we could, we were all crying allitle bit. Then my sisters friend comes over, he was crying just so happy to see her. We looked on myspace, she had easyly 10 messages from people asking if she was ok. It was the worst valintinse day ever, but I was sooooo glad when my brother and sister were alright....  Everyone, thank you for your time.
