Well guess what. The tank is 28 gallons and the the truck is modified. I'm getting rid of it though and getting a G6 tommorrow. Oh and BTW, it's pretty rude to someone a liar. It's no wonder everyone hates everyone in today's world.

Candy: What you lookin' at? Otis B. Driftwood: I'm lookin' at you, mama. Candy: Yeah, you see something you like? Otis B. Driftwood: Maybe. I set my standards pretty low, so I'm never disappointed.
$2.45 in Springfield. Down here we call it the special "Illinois state fair" blend of gas. Usually right before the week of the fair the pump takes a quick jump.
$2.19 to $2.38 on Friday then up to $2.45 for Monday that extra 7 cents curtesy of greedy station owners and unwitting tourists. They raise the prices before the tourists get here for the fair so they are none the wiser.
In the outlying areas of Sangamon county the price is still $2.30 to $2.35
Same crap, Same owners, different year.
It's the most fun in the park when your laughing in the dark.

Good call on the G6... I bought a 2005 G6 GT in May and I love it!!
I know that the prices are high, but I don't think we have anything to
complain about, especially people with SUV's. I was doing some
research on Gas Prices and we are paying alot less in Gas per gallon
than much of the world.
In 2004, when we were paying about $2.30/gallon:
UK: $5.54-$5.64/Gallon
Hong Kong: $5.62/Gallon
Germany: $5.29/Gallon
The world pays tons more than us and we don't really have anything
to complain about. People complain here in the US, cause there are
alot of SUV's and people with SUV's feel that they can complain! I
don't! Why? Cause SUV owners should have known when they got
the SUV that they'd be paying a ton in gas!
By the way, $2.49 here in Peoria.

I could be wrong but I thought that in the UK their gas prices are so high because a portion of that is used as medical insurance or something like that.
Hybrid - Its sickening what maunfacturers are going to be calling hybrid just to cash in on the new tax breaks. Rather than develop hybird vehicles with larger gains in MPG, they are adding electric motors to act as a sort of horsepower boost, with very little change in MPG. If you ever needed more proof that the automakers are in bed with the oil giants look at this list.

Honda Accord Hybrid (V6 with 28mpg)

Oil prices are still rising, it seems as if every day the price is breaking a new record. I don't think we'll ever see the old prices again. Still, It is a good deterrant to going to Six Flags. 120 miles is a lot of gas for me.
