LOL, I've seen video of scrawny highschool guys trying to show off by shooting really fast standing up or while doing James Bond jumps with shotguns..Needless to say they end up with some big ass bruises or fall on their backs.

Check the 4am topic for that answer.
.223 Ammo (caliber name is .223 remington but many makers sell ammo for it)
$138.66 for 1,000 rounds CU Full metal Jackets or 13.8cents per round
$2.97 for 20 rounds cheap nickel or 14.8 cents per round
$4.97 for 20 rounds FMJ or 24.8 cents per round
7.62 x 39mm ammo (AK-47)
$8.15 for 20 rounds FMJ or 40.7 cents per round
$137.20 for 1,000 rounds Wolf (my choice for making noise)
or 13.7 cents per round
Cheaperthandirt.com
Grain is the weight of the projectile. More weight = more momentum=more recoil (remember Newton?)
FPS is velocity
Make sure you have your FOID card. Be Safe, Good Luck and Good Shooting.
EDIT: I should mention that some Klashnikov rifles have been modified to accept NATO (.223) rounds. I would check with your friend to find out which round his AK-47 uses.

Yes, most of the time I'm up all night.
And this AK47 does take the 7.62mm rounds. We're being provided X amount of ammo. We shoot more, then we gotta buy it off him.

^ That can be expensive since most locals charge $10-15 for 20 rounds.
Hopefully he has some Korean made surplus stuff or wolf soviet made ammo.

I've never met this guy, but apparently his house is like 1 giant military stockroom. He's got cases of ammo. He's got a lot of money but he lives in a small house drives a crappy car and spends all his money on guns.

He'll be honest about his cost then. See the above post for an idea on price.
I know the kind of person you're talking about. Have fun, but be careful.

Weird, but one of my goals is to fire a belt fed weapon (Like the PKM, M249) with a disintegrating steel belt. Just looks like so much fun.

You should do some searches on the machine gun shoot down in KY.
I think its called Turkey creek or Knobb Creek. Its the nations largest shoot, and man are there some serious belt feds.

Good God
I haven't bought ink in quite a few years, but that seems a little steep. How much ink did you buy?

Securing the computer that I went virus hunting on.
Using dial-up to update an XP machine that has never been updated.
Should be fun. Oh well at least I get free food.

I bought 1 double black capacity ink cartridge (34.99), 1 cyan (14.99), 1 yellow (14.99) and one Magenta (14.99).
I feel bad for the people who buy new Episons. They have to buy Black, Magenta, Cyan, Yellow, Light Cyan, and Light Magenta.. All at 11.99 a pop.
I should have just purchased a new printer and used the ink that came with that one.
