Yah I saw that. Then the government came in and threatened to arrest him if he didn't lower the price.

This topic has strayed from what it should be. Instead of a gas price topic, it needs to be relating to the high gas prices and going to six flags.

Well, then, for most people it won't make that much of a difference. Even if you live 150 miles from the park (about 2 hours), that's about 6 gallons of gas. Right now, gas prices are about $0.50 higher than what they normally are this time of year. ($2.49 sounds about right for this time of year, doesn't it?) So that's only about $3.00 more for each trip, $6.00 round trip. I don't know about you, but a trip to Six Flags is definately worth $6.00. :P And that's round trip for people living past the city, most people here are probably closer than that.

With the next storm putting the nail in the coffin for our oil supplies, I predict at least $4.50 by end of next week.

Anybody going to cancel trips at that price? Anybody going to take another means of transportation to fright fest if theres no gas?

You can make $10 a gallon and it still won't stop people from going to six flags.

Ok... I live in the Bahamas but go to six flags whenever I go to visit family in Chicago. Gas prices here are $4.10 at the moment. They are set to reach $5.00 over the weekend. That my friends is bad. $3.00 a gallon would be like christmas here.
I wish I lived in Chicago so I could go to Six Flags more often!

Doesn't look like gas is going to go up like $3.00 a gallon as crude oil slipped almost $3 down.
