I think that the park is trying to show the guests that employees are safe, such as whenever the cross through a train, the ride op's hands go up, and the other employee points across. Unfortunately it aint so....

Thank you demon boy. Raging Bull Fan may have done work on park vehicles, but there were many problems reported when I started that still weren't fixed by the time I left. We're talking about some serious problems too! It's not entirely the park's fault. They just don't have the budget to fix all the problems or buy new vehicles. The few new vehicles they did buy while I was there went to departments who destroyed thier new vehicles the year before. So you see, the problem isn't that problems weren't reported. The problem is that Six Flags does not find it important enough to keep the employees safe, and it's partially evident with what OSHA said they found. I suspect there was a lot more to it than what we heard.

@SFGAm07
That would be a typical response from someone who believes that action should only be taken after something bad happens. I'm sorry you didn't have anything intelligent to add to the conversation. I wish you luck in the world of politics and business.

@CryptKeeper
It kind of makes you wonder...is Six Flags cutting corners/going cheap and not making the work place as safe as it should be, or is OSHA just being picky?

Six Flags cuts corners wherever they can, regardless of who or what it effects. They only care about money. OSHA wasn't being picky. They wouldv'e cited a lot more than they did.

@FParker185
if they dont find something they'll make something up

Those are serious accusations, my friend. Do you have anything to back up your statement?

Somewhere in Texas, a village is missing their idiot. It can currently be found in Washington D.C.

So Gotham City is in Texas? Cool!

Tell me just about any company that DOESNT cut corners.

Wal-Mart has had class action law suits against them because of there employment practices and im pretty sure that Wal-Mart dwarfs Six Flags.

And another thing OSHA does NOT hold back when it comes to citing issues regarding safety. I dont care if you worked at SF, hell I dont care if you owned SF, the fact is If OSHA saw additional issues they would have cited SF.

On a side note, what about the POS hand driers used in the washrooms??? How about dropping a dime on fixing those too?????
Is 2009 the last page in Chapter 10?
