The following Press Release is from Six Flags Great America PR:
Hurricane Harbor Chicago will open for the 2021 season on Saturday, May 29 as a separate attraction. The waterpark will have its own entry gate, giving guests the option to visit the waterpark independent of the Six Flags Great America theme park in Gurnee. Beginning today, guests may purchase single-day admission tickets starting at $39.99 to Hurricane Harbor Chicago and make reservations to visit at sixflags.com/hurricaneharborchicago.
Six Flags Members and Great America Season Passholders will still receive free admission to Hurricane Harbor Chicago — plus Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor Rockford — and more.
The park will employ an online reservation system to manage attendance, schedule guests for entry by day, and to stagger arrival times to allow for social distancing, among other measures. All Members, Season Passholders, and all guests with a single-day or group ticket will need to make a reservation online prior to visiting the waterpark. Guests who need single day tickets will be able to reserve during the purchase process.
Adding to the excitement of the 2021 season is the highly anticipated debut of Tsunami Surge, the world’s tallest water coaster, at Hurricane Harbor Chicago. This-state-of-the-art water attraction will tower over 86 feet high and blast riders through lightning fast uphill curves and adrenaline-pumping drops using unique jet-propulsion technology.
