Im still not sure what I am going to do as far as Season Passes go for next year. Anyone else having a hard time deciding as well?

Ill most likely wait until I see how the waterpark turns out before I consider buying the combo pass.

It really all depends if I go to SFStL during Spring Break or not. If i do end up going I will probably purchase one there and not a combo pass, but who knows.

Most likely, I'll wait till May and see if they drop $10-20 bucks or so. Like they usually do in May. If not, Bye Bye Combo Pass!

Well According to their Web site the prices listed now will be low as they are going to go for 2005. I suspect that the combo pass is so high compared to other parks because they fear that local Residents from Gurnee Area will all buy season passes and then Guest who are not from Gurnee area (Who goes once a year) will not be able to get into the water park because it would reach it's capacity.

No season pass for me next year. Six Flags has lost its luster.

That is an excellent observation, and I think that you are probably correct.

Well SFGAm actually has taken down all the pricing for Season Passes now.

Don't know whats up with that, maybe they accidently put them up to early or something?

It sounds like they wanted to sell them starting tomorrow, at least that's what the press releases implied. I wouldn't be surprised for a slight drop in the price though.

Got some more news on the Season Pass pricing. I was told that they have stop selling Season passes because they reviewing there options. At this time they are uncertain if the Water Park will be separate gated park or will be include with park admission. So they have stop Selling Season Pass till further Notice.

They'd be stupid to not have it seperate, there is no other way to recoop the 35 million they are dropping on this in 1 year other than having it be a seperate admission. If we were a small park ala Geagua Lake, that would work. We're not, it'd make it more of a pain in the butt than anything, well that and they'd have investors hounding them demanding to see them turn a profit on the waterpark in 2006 like they said they would in their conference call.

Yea, I believe that is a stupid move to not make it a separate Gated Park. Maybe, that’s why Tim Black has jumped ship. He is sick of Upper Managements stupid decisions.

there are rumblings of Tim Black in the SFGA forum.

I'd agree that one gate is a bad idea. if its one gate, everyone gets charged more despite what they use. I think the water park can't charge as much as the main park, though, which is what they're currently doing with the season passes.
I don't have a detonator; its on a timer.
A countdown timer?
No, a count-up timer. It goes from one to explode.

If Upper Management didn't make that decision they would lose lots of money and probably a few investors along with it...

I myself would rather have it all one admission. (I really don't care what's best for the park.)

Looks like they decided to combine the two parks. The season pass prices are up for 2005 and it includes Hurricane Harbor. All for $85.

I went there this summer and Hurricane Harbor was a seperate ticket than your ticket to the park.

And I am quite amazed that they included admission. And only 2 dollars more expensive than last year, I guess you need to expect a raise in normal admission to $45 next year.

The new prices for next year's season prices have been unvailed, it is now $84.99 for the season pass, includes both the waterpark and theme park. Also for a family 4-pack, it is $74.99 per perrson. They are now avaible online or at the Hurricane Harbor preview center.
