Even that would be too much moving around. These Wing Coasters are all about getting the previous riders off the platform and the new riders in the seats as quick as possible.

Then how do you think they are going to do it? In the summer, a lot of the general public wears sandals or flip-flops. Six flags isn't just going to say, "well sorry you can't ride X-Flight because you aren't wearing tennis shoes. Maybe next time." I'm sure they are going to find a way to solve this problem.

^ Like I said earlier, they're going to need a basket or small bin between every airgate.

^ I see how that would probably work the best, but its a lot easier to steal stuff from there. I guess it's jusdt a risk you will have to take if you don't want to pay $1 for a locker!

In motion! Instead of uploading it as a file, can I link the twitter photo URL with image tags?

The first two cars' main wheels are yellow, while the rest of the cars have white ones. Anyone know the reason? (Do the front ones need to be tougher?)

The yellow ones are polyurethane and the white are nylon. Polyurethane's are softer and made to slow down the train, they also absorb the shock and rattle better. Raging Bull does the same thing where it will run 2 different types of wheels at the same time (more polyurethane during summer to slow the ride down).
Is everybody in? The ceremony is about to begin.

Rows 3-6 are white nylon wheels and rows 1-2 and 7-8 are yellow polyurethane wheels.

I shouldn't be, but I am endlessly surprised by the details that engineers think of! It's obvious now that wheel patterns would be a great way to finetune the ride, but I guess I don't think like an engineer.

^ Leg guard, all the other wing riders have them as well. Only the the ones on the front seats look like that, the other rows is just on the side of your leg, not over it as well.

Yes only on the inside so people do not try to swing their legs to hit the track(;

Kind of surprised they're testing today. I would have thought once the tower started, testing would stop until the tower was finished.

I have a feeling it'll be like the Manta fountains.

Dope, that'll be pretty cool...not as cool as if it were an actual splash down but still pretty cool...Just imagine how great that would be, the person on the outside hits the water going 50something miles per hour

One train has more black on the top while the other is red. I was wondering how they were going to defer the two. That answers my question I guess. :)
