I am looking forward to this, and I think it will be a good addition to the park.
The "and more" makes you wonder what else they will be adding.
While we probably all know what area they will be expanding into, the question does come up as to what they will do with what is already there. Will the go-carts be moved to another area in the park? What about SST's entrance? Will it move to where it was in 1978 (across from the reflection pond along the main walkway)?

I do know that the next 2 months will be interesting to see how this all starts to come together.

I think this is a great addition to the water park, and it's still free with the park, thats a good thing for families. I might actually consider getting a pass for the 2011 Season. The bad thing about it is that this is an extremely packed waterpark, on really hot days it's so crowded that I feel uncomfortable being there, hopefully they do something about that.

Even if you aren't a waterpark person, suck it up, put some swimtrunks on under your shorts, and ride this vertical slide. It is a very high thrilling ride.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

^I dont mind waiting for a new coaster. Besides, the longer we go without a new coaster, the higher the chances will be for a even beter thrill ride! So i see this Riptide Bay expansion a win-win situation.

Another expansion that i'll probably ignore. The vertical slide does sound thrilling but I hate the wait for slides.

^Once you have ridden one drop water slide, they all feel the same. Its one of those things where you will go on it once, say "well that was cool", and probobly never go on it again.
