Coasters After Dark!

So Coasters After Dark is on June 11 which is not to far away from now. I will be going there to see if I can try The Dark Knight again since I waited 3 hours before and I loved it. What is coasters after dark like? Is it just like normal except for the darkness or do they have shows and stuff? Will anyone else be going there too?

You have that lanyard that says you can go to the bonus CAD? I do, and I'm going, hopefully. I hope it's empty.

Usually, the normal CAD events are horrific. The first year, they were empty and awesome. But sometime after that, EVERYONE started going to them. I haven't been to a CAD event since... maybe the second year.

I thought Coasters after Dark was Friday the 13th and if it is Friday the 13th I'm going that day

The ones who bought their season passes early get a bonus Coasters After Dark on June 11th. It'll be pretty sweet, I hope.

The June CAD is bad. Usually only get on 4 rides.

Last year I went to the August CAD and I was able to ride

It usually depends on how the weather is and which month it is. Usually the August one has been the best one to go to. It's always fun staying at the park until midnight, even though personally I think they should stay open until 2am a few times a year. Usually after the park closes at 10pm we want to stay out another 3 of 4 hours, so it would be nice for them to stay open really late once in awhile. That's why I like doing coaster roadtrips so much. You stay at a big park until 10pm or 11pm and then you leave and you're on the road for another 3 or 4 hours. It's a lot of fun.

Haha, so started this topic long time ago. And it is the new 2009 season. Anyone know when coasters after dark is? I didn't get to go last year but I wil hopefully get a chance this year.

I've been a few times, all it is really is an extra 2 hours at the park. Only the coasters are open during that time, no shows. In my opinion it's fun because riding the coasters in the dark is a lot of fun.

They are June 12, July 9, and August 12.

The reason why the lines for CAD are longer is because nothing, but the coasters is open. Okay, maybe they have Giant Drop, and Revolution, but think about the number of rides not operating during those last hours of the day compared to the rest of the day along with shows, and people aren't probably eating either. To me also, it seems like more people come later at night just because of CAD. They wouldn't have come if it wasn't for CAD.
