why did sfgam forum get spammed with this garbage stuff? or is it just me?

That was my fault, I changed a setting to try to prevent spam and it apparently just made it worse. Should be ok now though.

Can you make it a rule where someone has to post 100 times before starting a new discussion/ forum?

^ Having a post requirement that high to start a new topic would lead to a lot of meaningless/annoying replies because people would post just to get to that requirement.

I don't know what changes you did, But I've been seeing more spam in the last few days, Than in the last year.
