Yeah, Eagle counts as 2 since there are two different tracks. Some count Eagle as a single credit, which is understandable, which gives the two different figures.
No idea why some people count Eagle as 1 credit. Which ever side you ride on, blue or red, you never at any point during the ride go on the other side's track. If it were a mobius loop style coaster then yeah, it'd be 1 credit, but it's not. : p
Compare AE to Racer at Kings Island and even Gemini at CP and Colossus before RMC conversion to TC at MM. Unlike AE, the only difference between the 2 sides on Racer is that Red turns right and Blue turns left at the sole 180° turnaround, and since they've stopped running one side backwards for years now, the 2 sides are essentially the same and identical experiences. Colossus was and Gemini is just an alternating between which side turns on the outside and inside, the 2 sides parallel the entire ride with an identical ending.
AE's 2 sides on the other hand have a different g-force and speed in the massive double helix, a crossover right after, different return trip airtime hills, and a tighter and faster helix finale on the blue side. This leads to a big difference: the 2nd half of Red side is devoted to floater airtime and relative smoothness, while the 2nd half of Blue side is devoted to speed, intensity/relative roughness and brief ejector air. I would consider AE to be one duelling/racing "super coaster" with 2 distinct credits, similar to Lightning Racer at Hersheypark, while the other 3 are regular racing coasters with 2 near-identical credits that need not both be ridden.

Very good insight and commentary, Woody!
