So... SFMM has added a Flash Pass add-on similar to anything else you can add on to your regular season pass. However, it is very expensive and is priced at $500. This is ultimately worth it but is a hefty price. So here's the details on SFMM's.
It seems like the other side always wins on American Eagle Also, I've ridden Goliath 23 times in one day. HBU? (Sorry in advance for unnecessary commas and parenthesis every where)
The price is definitely steep. You would have to visit the park seven times to get its value. I think they should have offered a regular tier to the system for those who don't want to pay $500, maybe $250 is feasible for a regular pass?
I don't think many people will use it from what i see most of the people who use flash pass are the people who come to the park once or twice a year who don't have season passes and whant to get on as many rides as possible.
I go to the park somewhat frequently, and this is something I would definitely look into this year. Again, who would want to pay $500 to skip the lines?
I have a friend that got season passes last year and will still do the fast passes. Personally, we're down there enough that we get to ride everything we want and if we don't get it this time, there is always the next time. However, we usually go with friends so we would have to pay for them to get the flash pass also. Just for my little family of 3 that would cost us $1500 more for the season. I can't say we would get $1500 more fun out of it.
If you go to the park often enough to have a season pass, this is an utter waste, really how many times can you ride stuff and still have it be entertaining
Favorite Wood Coasters: The Voyage, Ravine Flyer II, Thunderhead, Balder Favorite Steel: Steel Vengeance, Expedition GeForce, Olympia Looping Parks visited: 222, Coasters Ridden: Steel: 822, Wood: 178, Total: 1000
^I'm going to have to start traveling to other Six Flags parks with my pass because I'm getting bored of Great America's line up. Luckily, they don't ask as much for passes as Cedar Fair...
I honestly don't get bored of the rides. At each visit, I rotate what I ride. One day I'll ride Bull, Goliath, Eagle, and Viper, then the next I ride Batman, X-Flight, V2, and Viper(Viper is fabulous). It doesn't sound like it works, but it does. I'm not bored of the lineup. I find a new joy in the rides with each visit.
$500 is barely a sale. $200 is. I'm not paying $500, let alone $800 to skip lines to rides I already rode. If it's able to be used at all SF parks, then maybe(depending on how many I go to in a year). Otherwise, no.
I would like an all season flash pass. Who wouldn't? But $500+ is not worth it. I don't mind lines. Sure, I'd rather skip lines, but I'm not willing to spend more than $200 for it. I'll be okay in line.
I think the pricing is appropriate. Any lower and one of two things will happen. Either fewer daily gold flash passes will be available, cutting into revenue, or Six Flags will increase the number of Flash Passes they issue, increasing wait times for everyone.

Honestly, this was something I was thinking about last year and the number I came up with that was "reasonable" was $500 as well. Granted I was thinking platinum passes and good for all SF parks but hey, it's a start?

Dining Passes are now allowed at all Six Flags Parks. Anything can happen.
My questions are what are these "blackout dates", and can I buy 2 all-season Flash Passes and link them both to my season pass (the second person may not always be the same person) or does the 2nd Flash Pass need to be linked to a second season pass?

Most likely some Fridays and Saturdays in October.

Also It's most likely 1 person= 1 pass
Gonna buy it on Sunday
Probably needs to be linked to a season pass just like the dining pass.
Am I reading it right though, is Goliath still a Platinum only ride?

Goliath is still platinum only, and it's only one all-season Flash Pass per season pass, but you can add more flash passes or upgrade to platinum on a daily basis in the park. Blackout dates are Saturdays during Fright Fest. I just bought it.
