Not that this is going to happen (nor should it) but what if the VR experience is put on Giant Drop? SFFT is doing that in 2017 putting the VR experience on Scream.

^ I personally hope it stays on Demon, but the VR on Drop Towers seems interesting. (Though better of a concept on launched towers)

Why is Logger's Run listed as temporarily closed? Aren't they all?

Personally I hope they ditch the VR on all their rides! It makes it take much longer to get on these rides. And I might be in a minority here but I don't see the point! I want to enjoy the ride, not a "virtual" ride.

I've never been on the whole VR experience thing but I can imagine you experience the ride just as well without your sight. You will still feel weightless on an airtime hill regardless if you have a VR helmet on or not.

It only adds to the experience, not take it away. This doesn't mean I'm a supporter of VR on rides by any means, they do kill capacity and they can be a nightmare to set up.

I saw this and was baffled... A drop tower only works in 2d. I don't see how VR can enhance that other than looking at a flying gargoyle/dragon/fighter jet/whatever in front of you at the top. It's hard to craft a story where you go straight up slowly and then straight down quickly.

Meh. You only have 30 seconds of ascent and 5 of free fall. You aren't going into deep space in that window. And again, you're locked into just 2D motions. No form of flight is like that.

Yeah I don't see VR on Giant Drop happening anytime soon either but It's Six Flags so who knows.

It wasn't announced at NNC, but I'd imagine so. Hopefully red like the good old days

Whoops. Brain slip there. Either red or black would be nice. The black would compliment Demon not too far away

If you click the link, that parking lot is packed too. Must have been a crazy summer Saturday! All that parking lot without Southwest Territory and Hurricane Harbor, it must have been slammed.

Anyone know if the Superhero run will be overly crowded or not based on past years?

I might be misinterpreting this, but SFGAm posted this on their snapchat as a "New Concept"

I'll take those over wings if they're on the pass. SFGAm you converted me.

I still want smoothies to be thinner.

All I want is a full-on hotdog place. For an American themed park, is that too much to ask for?

Ugh that would be amazing! If only Portillos would partner with Great America! ;D I mean it would be one expensive dog but so damn great to have at the park. Let's be honest, I think it would annihilate every other place to eat in the park.

I could actually see Portillo's replace Johnny Rockets. It'd not only bring in more customers, but increase throughput as well. I'd love it here.

Only problem is that it's a lot more of a Chicagoland location than a national franchise. There are 4 other Portillo's out west, 2 in AZ and 2 in Cali(one of which is down the road from Knott's Berry Farm), and another 2 in Florida(mainly the Tampa Bay area), but that isn't exactly close to any Six Flags parks except for MM(which is still an hour away at best). But hey, I wouldn't complain if it happened.
