I am surprised no one put 2 and 2 together sooner, I bet that the original idea with AE was to turn it into something like they did to Colossus at Magic Mountain. Not just retracking, but a complete transformation of the ride with fly overs and the high 5. I wonder what that would have looked like?
^ I'm with you. I don't think that AE would make for a very good candidate for an Iron Horse makeover. Think about the layout vs. all the other IH revamps. All the others are pretty "compact" coasters, i.e. not an out and back like AE. The only part of AE that has an abundance of wood to re-profile is the helix at the turn around, everything else on the ride is pretty low to the ground which would make it difficult to reimagine. I could be crazy, but I just don't see AE as a viable candidate for Iron Horse. Viper could be a better candidate, but I like Viper as is.
If anyone with Nolimits wouldn't mind possibly making what might have been "Iron Eagle", I'm sure a lot of us would be interested. Onto something that relates to the actual thread: Say we aren't getting a coaster, there are 3 things we might get. A Tsunami Soaker, a Looping "Coaster", or a Skyscreamer. Which do you think we would get, and were should it go? Talk amongst yourselves...
^I highly doubt we'd get a Tsunami Soaker considering we have four water rides already, plus a big waterpark. And TS really isn't that different of a ride than Buccaneer Battler, and we all know how popular that is.
Guy_With_A_Stick wrote:tbh, a Dark Ride is much more plausible than a Tsunami Soaker. And like DeathByDinn already said, it's too similar to Buccaneer Battle.
Also we have Tea Cups already. I'm hoping they gut the Former MagiQuest/ Massacre Medical Center building in County Fair and use it for a Justice League Dark Ride.
Or a Skyscreamer in the Former Sky Trail Area. I don't care what anyone says, They are not maintenance problems.

They should have added that instead of the Kids Rides. Red Baron is just an older Zoomjets that doesn't allow adults. Tots Livery and Flintstones do almost the same thing.
Is revolution working yet? It wasn't on opening day. could rip that out and put the old Merry-go-round back and maybe squeeze Porky's Buzzy Bee's somewhere and say they are bring back more old rides.
For everyone saying that they'll bring back old rides, I think it's a one time thing, the main audience of SFGAm is disappointed that we didn't get a major coaster this year and got rides that anyone over 10 can't really go on
I don't agree. We've gotten 2 coasters within 2 years and that is impressive enough. I think we should be getting updated flats rather than bring back ones that no longer exist. Everyone here seems to think it's easy to bring sky whirl back..... How do you bring back a ride that was melted down a long time ago?

All right, after reading screamscape's projections for the next Justice League dark ride in 2016, I am splitting my original prediction of that, or a looping coaster like the one at Great Adventure to this: The same ride Six Flags America got this year.
Bourbon Street Fireball in Ragin Cajun's spot. Right name in the right location, and cheap with the facade, station, and que already built.
^That's a very good prediction, that I can very well see.
For speculation, I thought of something that could fit a decent sized ride;
If Orbit is removed(or relocated. Again.), then the area with Sky Trail, Orbit, the boat thing nobody uses, and some space behind the games, a decent family/kiddie coaster could fit there.
I think that it is best to write down all the options that could come next year.
1. Larson Super Loop installed in the Mardi Gras area with the Bourbon Street Fireball theme.
2. Justice League Dark Ride (or possibly another theme) added in a building somewhere in the park (Pictorium, MagicQuest building, Southwest Amphitheater).
3. A Skyscreamer added somewhere in the park (Hometown Park area, Ragin' Cajun spot...)
4. A S&S 4D Free Fly like Batman: the Ride in Six Flags Fiesta Texas. This could easily go in the Ragin' Cajun spot. The supports for this would work perfectly around Roaring Rapids.
5. The Waterpark could be updated with a new slide complex. The last time the waterpark was updated was 2011. And they seem to update it every 5-6 years.
6. Six Flags could completely surprise us and do something new and unique.
I'm really hoping for a Justice League Dark Ride in the Magi-Quest Building. Great America seems to have focused on County Fair lately for attractions (Buccaneer Battle, X Flight, Goliath)
I doubt we'll see a Waterpark expansion since the $7 upcharge kinda alleviated crowds in the Waterpark, Though a Ride like Mammoth at Holiday World would not be a horrible idea.
For a waterslide lineup, we have a great waterpark. Everything else is eh. If Six Flags took the time to thoroughly train staff, and maintain the waterpark in full, then we'd have a great waterpark. A watercoaster would really complete the lineup.
Take the survey and enjoy whatever hints it gives you, but as it says, don't post about the contents. I'd hate to see them stop doing these surveys because someone can't keep their mouth shut.

Whatever it is, It's given to all Six Flags Parks for a Future Concept.
