There isn't a part of the ride where that building is. The Immelmann is slanted just in front and to the right of the building from the camera view and will probably be the closest part of the ride to that building.
EDIT: Don't the supports right in front of the camera belong to the Immelmann?

Yes after the zero-g it goes to that support.
I think that is the support right outside the hangar the coaster is going to dive through....which is right where the old garage for GAR is.....maybe I'm wrong, who knows
B&MGuy35 wrote:Has anyone else noticed that the building that was saved from GAR looks like its in the spot were the hangar it dives through is going to be? Look at the layout and in comparison to the station it seems to be right here.....just a thought. What do you guys think?
By looking at the immelmann support and the exit support of the same element and comparing the rendered image on SFGAm's page, you can see where the hangar will be.....it will be even easier to tell when the Zero-G is completed. I wouldn't worry about it now though, Buildings are last to be constructed for the most part.

I was just on the SFGAM facebook page and somebody posted a picture of the map from the No Coaster event that was on the screen. It shows what the area will look like and where the water feature will be. I cannot wait to ride this!!!!
wow! its crazy seeing how big the drop anf the roll is going to be. the days i thought they weren't working on the drop they been doing work on the lower supports. Very cool!
Here's a few shots I got while the webcam was being adjusted:
The two large footers are the turn around between the first brakes and the Transfer. In the left foreground, you can see footers for the storage tracks.
Various vehicles by Raceway. Also visible is some wood from Eagle, though I couldn't see where they're working on Eagle.
This should give some idea of where the camera is mounted
Supports for the 270 degree curve between the corkscrew and the keyhole.
Wow. I did not expect this thing to be so massive. I remember seeing survey markers near the Papa Johns by the arcade but I did not expect to see a footer that far out.
Thanks for the caps!

^ I've actually heard that earlier in the design process, B&M had actually wanted the park to remove Pizza Luigi and Dare Devil Dive, but the park said no, so the design was modified.
Stuff like that has always made me wish I was full time in P&D for parks to know what "would have been". But a lot of times plans change for the better. I have my own opinion on this but its like TTD changed for the better...The fact that there were thoughts/plans for it to be a stormrunner style tophat with a layout sharing Millennium island is bothersome to me. The simplicity of the layout it is today came from the the fact a dragster goes out & back, its not a nascar haha I love X-Flights layout very much so I dont want to know what it may have been. ;D
I dont know how much I believe in the Mantis story...wanna hear that one? haha
I dream of the 400ft "Great American SkyScreamer". x

Too bad they didn't remove both as it would have been a little bigger of a coaster.

Last I checked the bottom of the zero-g roll has been constructed. Hearing the thing about a possible Dare Devil Dive removal, I realize that this coaster really was not supposed to be this much of a tight squeeze. I think Six Flag's decision to keep DDD was a smart move.
I'm very pleased with how close this ride will be to the midway. That cap that shows the county fair games really gives you a good shot of how near you'll always be to it.
**Edit** Hopefully this webcam move will simmer some people down!

You could see the water element before they moved the camera, and the roll doesn't look distorted at all. Are you sure you're not mistaking the first drop with the roll?

I meant distorted as in twisted. If it wasn't twisted I don't know how it would be a zero-G roll. I didn't mean that in a bad way I'm just saying it looks really cool from the angle they are showing!
