So I have what may be a dumb question, but I am finally going to GA on Wednesday so I can ride Goliath. I have read a few posts referring to "grouping" while in the queue. My question is if there is like a separate line once in the station for the front row?
Here's a little update on the single rider line. I tried it on Sunday waited the temporary que and was then given a lanyard that said single rider. Then I was placed in the sixth row next to a broken seat. Still waited about a hour and a half.
Well I must say, you know how I was a bit disappointed in Goliath at first? Scratch that. The first time I rode the thing I did not really notice just how great that drop was as well as the zero g stall. But I have ridden it four times since then. That drop in the back is ejector, but not in a way that chucks you out like El Toro. Its just so steep that you are hard pressed on the restraint and out of your seat. In the back, its amazing. In the front, its also amazing. The overbanks are also much more thrilling than they were the first time to me. The Twist and Shout is actually really fun in the front as you get pushed into it and you get good air. It actually does feel a lot more out of control the more I ride it also. Its sideways, airtime, upsideown, sideways again. Its really awesome.
Yeah, I must have been tired or something the first time I rode it .
1. Bizarro 2. Expedition GeForce 3. X2 4. Top Thrill Dragster 5. El Toro 6. Goliath (SFGAm) 7. Millennium Force 8. Silver Star 9. Apollo's Chariot 10. Goliath (SFOG)
When I was at the park yesterday, I was told by one of the ride operators that the overflow que line will likely stay for the rest of the and when it's not needed, they'll just close it off.

How did you enjoy it?
Actually I've ridden Goliath already. My first time on Goliath was on the day it opened and I really enjoyed it. Easily my third favorite coaster in the park behind BTR and RB.
It seems like the other side always wins on American Eagle Also, I've ridden Goliath 23 times in one day. HBU? (Sorry in advance for unnecessary commas and parenthesis every where)
^ ^^ You do get two rides on Goliath with the Platinum Flash Pass. My brother and I had Platinum Flash Passes last Friday and was surprised when the worker at the Flash Pass processing booth said that we would get two rides. It was a great surprise.
Hey guys I'm going to SFGA next week and I'm a bigger guy (6'1" 290lbs 44 pants size) and am concerned I won't be able to ride Goliath. Any other members have any experience with this? Thanks!

Thank you! I can't wait to ride! Did you have any issues on other rides?

Yes I can't fit on Batman:TR. V2, Revolution, and Giant Drop.
Just wondering, has anyone come up with an average capacity for Goliath per hour? I know the theoretical is around 800, but I'd be interested to know how many people it's actually moving through because its dispatch times have been pretty terrible my last few visits.
