New Exclusive Ride Time for Xtreme Pass Holders

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

^The times I went they had 3 events (and I went the one in June I believe), and Batman, V2, and Demon weren't even close to those times. Batman had to be only 25/30 minutes (Maybe 4 switchbacks were going by the tunnel, but at the time the mechanics also took off a train, and than they had to waste time putting it back on), V2 was no 75 minutes & the line was similar to a rectangle (It wasn't back and forth switchbacks, but it was just you go straight towards the far back of the line, than you turn, make another straight line, and than you go up the stairs. Maybe, that's 30 minutes.), and Demon was about 15 minutes.

For yesterday holy cow, 60 minutes for Batman (Sure, mostly those times are off by 10/15 minutes, but let's pretend 60 min is true) means you are going through switchbacks outside Gotham City Park by the Buzzy Bees/ where East River Crawler was. Fright Fest is usually the time I see that type of line for Batman. I usually avoid Saturdays with a passion so that could really happen Saturdays in July I don't know. The worst lines I usually see for Batman besides Fright Fest outside the park, are some lines start opening in the park itself.

Anyone going next Tuesday for the ERT?

I'll be there again. I hope they start clearing the general public out - or put all of the Xtreme Pass people on the same car, and then general public on the other.

It being during normal operating period will be sorta weird, wonder how they will do it.

I'll be there once again. Want to meet up? PM me! This should be interesting since last time they were letting the GP in until we started chanting check the passes last time. How are they going to do this while the park is open? Will they wait until the park closes or just close the ride to the GP? I just hope they have a better plan in place then last time!

Sure! Why not. Always fun to see folks from here there. I'll be around the X Flight entrance by 7:45. Yeah, I sure hope they have a good plan this time, because they may have a riot on their hands since the public will be there the entire time. It is scheduled for 8 - 9 PM.

Um, guys, I'm not sure why you all seem to think this ERT is happening during public operating hours. May I direct your attention here:

Next week weekdays are 10:00-8:00. Yes people, summer is over.

Just got off the phone and they are saying (at least the person I talked to) is that the GP will be cleared out, and no one will be allowed in line from 8 - 9 pm.

Hopefully the clear the line out sooner then just closing the line down at 8.

Well, that certainly makes it slightly easier, but they still need to get the public off the ride so we don't have to wait :D

(Big problems for us, I know). Why don't they just start it 30 minutes after the park closes?

I doubt it will be much of a problem. Next week, based on past seasons, there should be a large drop in weekday attendance, and the lines basically clear themselves out the last hour when the park isn't packed.

END of summer what was i thinking! It feels like it just started. It should be better then last ERT then if the park closes at that time, but now that i think about it the last ERT was when the park closed too and it was still packed! I should be up there around 4:30pm.

End of summer

^ Weren't the Xtreme Pass ERT events only for X-Flight (and I think there was a Raging Bull one early in the season??) If so, then having 6 additional rides open sounds pretty generous and somewhat organized to me....especially at a time in the season where they start to scramble to find the additional help to try and keep everything open.

^ You're misinterpreting that. He means he only got on X Flight 7 times during the ERT, which leads me to guess the regular line wasn't cleared until around 20-25 minutes after the 8:00 start time.

Actually wasn't fully cleared out until 8:40 and they didn't extend it at all for us this time. They took care of us when we all went to the office and discussed it with them (exit passes for all)

You are correct dejaVu2001. Most of us was there early and basically our first ride was at 8:12pm after waiting in line at the stairs! Our 2nd ride was at 8:37pm and then it was cleared out, but the front row there was still GP in line waiting! That does not seem like exclusive ride time to all of us that were there. I really hope they do one for fright fest for us. That's 2 ERT seasons that have been messed up. They should have just waited 30 mins after the park closes to start the ERT like they did with the Bull in May.

Honestly, I think it would be easier to just do morning ones. If they do any more night ones, they should start later. If they do any during Fright Fest though, they'd pretty much have to be morning ones with the 11:00pm closings with insane crowds.

I agree. Do an hour before the park opens, or 30 minutes after the park closes. The 2 ERT's they did that way worked out swimmingly.
