2018 rumors, thoughts and speculation
I'm tempted to say it's going to be a world first ride...... but I was also 100% positive that they were going to reinstall the Ameri-Go-Round in 2015 for 40 seasons, when they were posting pictures of the Columbia Carousel on their facebook teasers..... Turns out they did resurrect 3 former rides, just not the Ameri-Go-Round which still remains in storage by Superman, lol.
Nothing to see here....

The Grim Reaper in the Six Flags America teaser appears to be by Shipwreck Falls, V2 could fit over there.

The dude is not always right, but let's look at the rumor:
From Screamscape, "Rumor has it that Six Flags may be installing two more S&S 4D FreeFly coasters to their parks in 2018 just like The Joker which opened this season at Six Flags over Texas, New England and Great America. While I haven’t seen any rumors about their possibly location yet, there are three parks that stand out to me as being the most likely choices right now for 2018: Six Flags Mexico, Six Flags St. Louis and Six Flags America. If Six Flags America is getting a long thin thing, I think a Joker clone is wat more likely than our V2, especially since there's no evidence at all that V2 is going anywhere.

Just for the record (we go through this every year), every Six Flags uses the same text and pictures for this. Don't read anything into the wording or the graphics, they aren't hints for whatever we're getting.

Looks like V2 (And I guess King Chaos) is safe from going to SFA
So it's a 4D for them or RMC Roar?
They'd have already closed Roar if they were going to RMC it.
Roar was closed and recently reopened after receiving some track work.
Six Flags America will probably get a Joker clone if no hand me downs go there! They haven't had a non hand me down Coaster since 2001...... So It might be about time, lol

Season Pass sale is nothing new. It's been around and is almost always the best sale. The end of the season is another prime time to buy besides black friday. At least they actually announced it unlike orbit and jesters.

Wow, so surprised (not really). It is kind of funny how excited the people in the Six Flags America TPR thread are about their new Mardi Gras addition(s). Glad to see it finally go. usually ride it once a season just to remind myself why I never ride it. Might have to actually ride it one final time. No tears shed on this one.
