What Ride Would you Like to See Return?

Talk about anything that has to do with the amusement park industry here.
Postby Johnska on February 14th, 2016, 10:53 pm
I've already asked this in the SFGAM section, but I'd like to see what ride (show, flat ride, rollercoaster, etc.) you'd like to see again because it is no longer operating.

For example, I'd like to ride disaster Transport at Cedar Point because I've never actually ridden a bobsled coaster before and am interested in the theming that Cedar Point tried to pull off.

(You don't have to think the ride/thing that replaced it is better)

All of Riverview. The Bobs, Fireball, Flying Turns, Chute the Shoots... They all have true Chicago history, but was all demolished for reasons out of the park's reach. Not even my dad had a chance to go, and he lived right down the street.

Disaster Transport was a very enjoyable ride, I also wish it was never demo'd.

I would have to go with the original test track. I liked the concept of being the crash dummy, not just being a person riding in a tron-like environment.

Son of Beast. I don't care how rough it could've been I would've loved to be a part of something with a history like that.

got a few and I'm sure I'll think of a few more, but top of the list would probably be the Girolight by Tarvisa/Teproyel, never got to ride that ride. Wouldn't mind seeing a Waagner Biro Magic Arms return as well, this being the only one of these i've ridden, lastly I'll go with that suspended coaster called Alpenflug that's usuallycredited to Schwarzkopf but was actually made by Messerschmidt

Son of Beast was fun but fairly brutal. Worth riding once or twice, followed quickly by an asprin

I would have to agree on Test Track. It will never be the same. :( Coasters for me would be Greased Lightnin at KK, and Ozark Wildcat at Celebration City. Disney would include be Mr. Toad, the original Journey into Imagination, ET, and the original Star Tours.

It seems like the other side always wins on American Eagle :?
Also, I've ridden Goliath 23 times in one day. HBU? :P

Yeah, Captain Rex and the original was the best. The original is still remains at Disney Paris for a couple of months.

I'm well aware and wish I could visit before it closes, but there is no way that will happen. I just liked the predictability, while still feeling out of control. Plus the 3D messes me up.
