New coaster preference

Talk about anything that has to do with the amusement park industry here.

I was thinking recently and thought I would put it up for discussion. What kind of new coaster would you prefer. A completely new to the world type or a type that has been tried elsewhere but a custom design. Examples of this would be Batman: the Ride or Goliath.

I personally would prefer the new to the world design type, but I also understand that there is inherent risk because it may not perform how its supposed to (flying turns). That being said you have more assurance that you will have some reliability with a tried and true design but it may be a great design still (Manta).

The examples provided above are for clarity and are not for direct comparison.

What does everybody else think?

Same type, custom layout. Preferably a Mack launch or a Hyper-GTX
