kinda saw how bad operations are getting at the park, around the time RB opened, the line from hometown square was under 2 hours.

It was towards the end of the 2012 season. (Obviously as it was FF) But I don't remember what weekend it was. I'm wanting to say it was the second to last Sunday, whatever that would have been. Bull was only to entrance with both queue houses full. At the time I didn't count trains, so it could've been reduced capacity for all I know.

It seems like the other side always wins on American Eagle :?
Also, I've ridden Goliath 23 times in one day. HBU? :P

Wait times have more to do with Flash Pass than they do with the actual operations.

Every year the percentage of allowed Flash Pass users seem to go up. During the days of the punch card system, the ratio seemed to be 1-2 Flashpass to 10 stand by riders. The grouper would let in 5-10 people every 5 mins. I even remember using the punch cards and having to wait a little bit before getting into the line. Now it seems like it's about 50/50, and some days even higher. The park loves being able to double a guests profit by selling a Flashpass, so they keep increasing the amount of Flashpasses sold in a day. 2007-2010, the Flashpasses would sell out before lunch. Last time I was at the park, the park was busy and they were still trying to push sales well into the afternoon. There was even a Fright Fest day when the Flashpass line for Superman extended all the way back into the midway.

Same goes for Cedar Fair Fast Lane. It's usually a 40% Fast Lane to 60% stand by. Before Fast Lane, a full Millennium Force que would be around 1 hour, now it's over 2.

I went to SFGAm on a random Fright Fest Thursday back in 2014, and no one was using the Flash Pass. I was amazed to see how fast the lines were moving when no one was using them.

Still. Fastlane or Fastlane+ has us wait a little bit. As soon as somebody with FlashPass comes into eyesight, the standby comes to a full halt. Then wait for good while until the next one comes. It's a totally bogus system.
