Park Closed Sunday April 5th.

Six Flags Great America has announced on it's web site that the park will be closed Sunday April 5th due to the winter weather advisory in the area.

yeah, that's what I heard on Fri, that unless there were drastic changes in the weather forecast, they would not be opening on sunday. Cant really blame them.

Here's my first comment here in a long time.

It's no surprise this had to happen. I don't know if they should've opened up on April 5th in the first place, because we do get winter days in April. Do we like it? No! Have we had enough of this? Yes! Let's get on with the warm weather already! (BTW It IS nice the park opened up early this year.)

Just dodged that one. A friend and I were planning on going to the park today, but we ended up going yesterday. It turned out to be a great day, so I'm glad that we switched dates.
