By the very nature of the lift mechanism, it's going to miscatch occasionally. Usually results in a half hour tops of downtime (at least at SFGAm, not sure how they handle it at Silverwood), major long term breakdowns is what we all are waiting for :)

For the 2008 season Aftershock had a 2% down time mostly due to weather. The ride had a few issues to work out it's first few weeks, but after that there were no major mechanical problems, jsut a few minor ones due to rain.

It was the coolest design of any coaster I have ever seen. Beautiful colors. Great fun. I miss it and probably always will wish we had it with us still. I just think there is no point looking back.
