Six Flags Great America Announces Buy-One Get-One Free Offer

Better Entertainment, Better Service, Better Value and Close to Home

Gurnee, IL - June 9, 2008 - In conjunction with the grand opening of its newest attraction, THE DARK KNIGHT Coaster, Six Flags Great America is announcing an unprecedented price-lowering offer for its unique brand of thrilling family entertainment. Effective immediately and only through July 3, guests purchasing tickets online can buy one regularly priced park admission ticket at $54.99 and get a second ticket FREE.

"With the rising costs of food, living expenses and airfare, families are in search of great summer entertainment that is fun for everyone, close to home and affordable," said Hank Salemi, Six Flags Great America park president. "Our new coaster, new Sunday Rocks! concert series, and this buy-one, get-one free offer makes a visit to Six Flags an unbeatable value."

THE DARK KNIGHT Coaster, an indoor, dark coaster based on the upcoming Warner Bros. movie "The Dark Knight", joins the exciting thrill and entertainment line-up at the park. More than just a ride, THE DARK KNIGHT Coaster features the world renowned DC Comics characters in an adventure that utilizes storytelling, physical movement, video, sound and special effects to bring guests a one-of-a-kind ride in complete darkness.

Six Flags Great America boasts 13 major coasters headlined by the world's first hyper twister coaster, Raging Bull and Superman the Ride, the ultimate flying coaster. Guests will find more than 80 rides and attractions, four children's areas including the popular Wiggles World and the best water park in the nation - Hurricane Harbor, free with park admission.

The 2008 season also offers a thrilling line-up of entertainment options including the all-new concert series Sunday Rocks! presented by DanceDanceRevolution featuring hot musical stars like Sean Kingston, Natasha Bedingfield and Mario. Local bands will also appear throughout the summer during the Live and Local concert series.

"Six Flags offers a full value menu that includes a free water park, more family attractions than ever before, exciting shows and the best thrill rides in the Midwest, all at a family-friendly price," said Salemi.

Six Flags Great America is open daily May 21 - August 27 and weekends through Nov. 2. For more information on special events, tickets, prices and operating hours, please visit http://www.sixflags.com/greatamerica.

All BOGO tickets must be purchased and redeemed by July 3, 2008.

That's a good idea that they're doing that. It'll probably raise attendace a little. Cedar Point is doing the same sort of thing...

Yeah, Six Flags is finally doing something right!

They better advertise a lot so many people can take advantage of the offer. Although, I wouldn't doubt if they did this just to make them look good and justify the extremely high price.
