Due to the delicate nature of taking the ride apart, and how dangerous it is to take a ride apart even in good conditions, don't expect the ride to start coming down until the weather warms up.

Several parts of the ride have already been sent to their new home.

Its not that I don't trust you, but I would have to see evidence before I believe anything. And I'm not saying that the ride isn't going but I just don't think they are even going to take it down till next year, or until the season starts.

^Okay, for all of you who still believe it isnt going anywhere this is how it works.

When a coaster goes UP (INstalled):
-The supports go in first
-then the track
-then the trains
-finally, all of the mechanics

When a coaster comes DOWN (UNinstalled)
-the mechanics go out first
-then the trains
-then the track
-finally the supports.

What that means is that they have to get the stuff we CANT see from the road out first. So, for you who think that its not coming down, it means that we cant see the actual track coming down. THey probably just took out the trains. So, we wont see track deconstruction for about a month.

ITS COMING DOWN, GET OVER IT.

I even said, Its not that I don't think its coming down at all....its just that I don't think they will (ok I should have said noticeably) I don't think we will see any major demolition till the season starts. It takes Six Flags forever to put stuff up, yes taking down is easier, but I still think it will take forever for them to take it down. Which yes, I think it will still be up for at least the first part of the season. Even if it is a couple of footers and supports.

I'm assuming that you're talking about Vu coming back. In that case, it won't be back.

^^^tp41190: I wasn't talking about you. The reason I accidentally have three posts there is because I hit submit just a second after you. I meant to be just below rielyboy. Then, I was going to edit it but I didn't realize that you couldn't edit posts. I wasn't thinking and I hit quote on accident. Sorry for the confusion.

A. How could you possibly know it's easier to take down a coaster then to put one up, because if you are assuming, which I'm guessing you are, then you don't.

B. Ya'll need to learn how to use the edit button.

C. I know it's a mod's job, But I beleive we're not supposed to talk about specific cast members names here right?

A. It is definately easier to install the ride than remove it. Usually when removing the ride you come upon bolts that refuse to come out and must either be carefully drilled out or very, very, VERY carefully cut out with an oxy-acetylene torch. But also with most rides installation and demolition is done by a 3rd party company, unless they are small rides (As was the case with Wiggles World).

B. I agree.

C. You are correct Sir!

Rielyboy10,

First please don't personally talk about Team Members unless you are that Team Member, and even if you are that Team Member, I'd STRONGLY recommend if you wish to keep your job at the park not to post on forums such as thing one, as the park DOES read these forums and if you say anything that shouldn't be public information you will be fired. That is also why we don't want specific Team Members mentioned, the last thing we want to cause is someone to get fired (Unless they well deserve it.)

Secondly,
While I cannot be 100% sure unless the ride mechanic was operating the ride himself the operators CANNOT run the ride in "manual" mode. The ride has enough problems running in Autostart mode, last thing they would want is to have something break from grabbing it in the wrong place in manual.

Third,
I don't know if Vekoma was there the last day of the season, but they were here earlier in the season. If they were here on the last day it was most likely only during the daytime and to tell the mechanics the order for taking things apart and preparation for shipping.
