After Dark - Season Passholder Event
Friday, June 13: 9:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
Thursday, July 10: 10:00 p.m. - Midnight
Wednesday, August 13: 10:00 p.m. - Midnight
Coasters After Dark is a special event just for Season
Passholders. Enjoy exclusive ride time for two hours on
Six Flags Great America's major rides along with fellow
Season Passholders. Coasters After Dark features other
fun surprises, including special retail discounts throughout
the park during each event.
April
26 - June 15 - Math & Science Days
Elementary and middle school students enjoy an interactive
day of academic thrills at the Midwest’s most exciting
outdoor classroom. Presented by K’Nex.
May 3 - Coasters for a
Cause
Guests experience thrilling rides, great food
and exciting shows while raising money supporting charities
through the sale of admission tickets.
May 4, 18 & June 1-
Dance Fest
Dance teams of all ages showcase their talents
in a non-competitive dance event performing different
genres of dance from ballet to hip hop.
May 8 -Physics Day
Teachers and students explore the inside and
upside downs of physics of an amusement park in this hands-on
educational event.
May 9- Marketing Day
High school students get a behind-the-scenes
glimpse of how entertainment giant Six Flags Great America
sells fun while working on their own creative marketing
project.
June 6, 7 & 8- Professional
Bowling Association Bowling Tournament
Watch the biggest
names in bowling put the roll in roller coaster as they
bowl for strikes in this nationally televised event!
June 30 -Warped Tour Day
at Six Flags Great America
Q101 and Six Flags
Great America bring the hottest acts from the Vans Warped
Tour for an interactive exclusive event.

22 & 29, July 6, 13, 20, 27- Sunday Rocks! at Six
Flags Great America
Today’s hottest
musical stars including Sean Kingston rock the stage live
at the 2008 Sunday Night Concert Series! Concerts are
free with admission. Seating is limited.

30 & 31- Ellis & Associates International Lifeguard
Challenge
Lifeguard
teams from around the world compete in the second annual
lifeguard challenge finals at the best water park in the
nation, Hurricane Harbor!
August
16 & 17- Park Jam
Guests
can get their groove on at this two-day concert starring
pop sensations! Concerts are free with admission. Seating
is limited.
August
23 -Six Flags Corn Hole Tournament
Bags, behemoth coasters and Bugs Bunny join together
at Six Flags Great America for a Corn Hole tournament.
August
28- Home School Day
Students head out of the home classroom for a private
event for home-schooled families.
September
6 & 7- National Cheerleading Association & National
Dance Association Competition
The
best cheerleading and dance teams of the Midwest take
over the park for the NCA & NDA championship title.
September
7- “A Walk in the Park”: Taking Strides to
Cure Kids Cancer
Six
Flags Friends and Cure Kids Cancer partner to raise money
for pediatric cancer research with a benefit walk through
the park.
Weekends
starting October 4 through November 2- Fright Fest
Goblins,
ghouls and werewolves – oh my! Six Flags Great America
transforms from theme park to scream park for the 19th
annual Fright Fest. Plenty of spooky activities will have
guests screaming for more!
